Ron Bohlander

Ron Bohlander is a highly experienced professional in the fields of research and scientific operations, currently serving as Principal Research Scientist Emeritus at Georgia Tech Research Institute since 1997. With a robust background that includes roles such as Deputy Lab Director for Research Operations and Fellow & Founder of the Commercial Product Realization Office, Ron has significantly contributed to strategic and operations planning, export compliance, and professional advising. Ron's career also encompasses leadership as President of the East Park Community Association from 2002 to 2022, and a prior position as Senior Scientific Officer at Rutherford Appleton Laboratory. Educationally, Ron holds a PhD in Physics from Imperial College London, an MS in Physics from the University of Colorado Boulder, and a BS in Astronomy from Case Western Reserve University.
