Gary Cheung

Gary Cheung is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the semiconductor and design automation industries. Currently serving as FAE-Assistant Director at SMIC since August 2023, Gary has previously held significant roles such as Principal FAE at Marvell Technology and Solutions Architect/FAE at GLOBALFOUNDRIES. Gary's career began at LSI Logic Corporation, where a progression from Circuit Design Engineer to Circuit Design Manager was achieved over nearly a decade. Additional roles include Principal Design Engineer at Ammocore, Manager of Field Application Engineering at Javelin Design Automation, and various positions at In-Chip Systems and Gradient Design Automation. Gary's educational foundation was built at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1983 to 1986.
