Kasper Middelkoop

Kasper Middelkoop has a long history of working in the tech industry. Kasper began their career in 2004 as an Online Marketing Intern at Fonq.nl, followed by an Affiliate Marketing Manager role at Droomboeket.nl in 2005. In 2006, they co-founded Midsol Media, which was later acquired by Investion in 2013. At Investion, Kasper worked as the Marketing Director. In 2008, they completed their Master Thesis research at Bol.com. In 2015, they founded Hotelchamp, where they served as the CPO and a non-executive shareholder. In 2012, they co-founded Tiqets, which received a $60 million investment from Airbnb in 2019. Finally, in 2020, they founded Smiler, which secured an $8 million seed round by Mosaic Ventures, Speedinvest, Profounders and Dutch Founders Fund in 2022.

Kasper Middelkoop completed a Master in Marketing Management from Tilburg University between 2005 and 2008. Prior to that, they earned an HBO in Commerciele Economie from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (Hogeschool Utrecht) from 2001 to 2005. In April 2018, they also obtained a certification from Bas Wouters CMCT - Persuasion.nl in the Robert Cialdini Power of Persuasion Masterclass.
