Bill Wiggins

Bill Wiggins is Smith Anderson’s executive director who has decades of experience overseeing critical and pivotal roles in operations of large corporations and law firm. As part of Smith Anderson’s executive leadership, Bill plays an integral role in helping to develop strategies to support the Smith Anderson vision and mission.

Among his responsibilities, Bill oversees the firm’s administrative departments and its overall strategy to ensure profitable and effective business operations. Bill also assists Smith Anderson’s managing partner with firm management, client services, consistent and transparent communications across the firm and collaboration among the firm’s senior management team and staff.

Bill has been the principal administrator at law firms for 25 years and most recently spent more than a decade at an international law firm as director of administration for its North and South Carolina offices. Prior to that, he owned a consulting firm and was executive director for an IP boutique law firm in Raleigh.

Bill enjoys spending time in the mountains, especially Boone, North Carolina and North Carolina’s Outer Banks, particularly Hatteras Island. He also enjoys hiking and fishing, spending time with his family and cheering on the N.C. State Wolfpack!
