Lawrence McBreen-Smith

Lawrence McBreen-Smith is an experienced Engineer and Project Manager currently serving as the Wind Energy Contracts and Engineering Manager at Smith Crane & Construction Ltd. Since 2022, they have overseen wind energy contracts and engineering for various projects across New Zealand, including multiple phases of the Turitea Wind Farm. Prior to this, they held positions such as Project Manager for the $450 million Mercury Turitea Wind Farm and Mechanical Engineer at Aurecon, where they contributed to several significant building projects. Lawrence earned their Bachelor of Engineering Technology in Mechanical Engineering from CPIT and a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Canterbury.
