Michael Gapen

Michael Gapen, CPA, is an Assurance Manager at Smith + Howard, where they leverage their extensive experience in auditing and assurance. They graduated with a Master's degree in Accounting from Penn State University in 2018, following their Bachelor's degree in the same field completed in 2017. Michael began their professional journey as a Teaching Assistant at Penn State and interned at Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP, gaining foundational skills in the audit process. They further advanced their career at Baker Tilly US, ultimately stepping into their current management role.
