Robert Hickman has extensive experience in law enforcement and canine training, holding multiple positions within the North American Police Work Dog Association since April 1990, including President and Master Trainer. Currently, Robert serves as Special Projects Program Manager at Shallow Creek Kennels and maintains roles as an Armorer for various firearm manufacturers, including GLOCK, Smith & Wesson, and Remington Arms Company. Robert has been an instructor at the Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy since June 1992, specializing in firearms and canine evaluations. Robert's law enforcement career includes serving as Chief of Police at Port Clinton Police Department from September 1981 to June 2021. Robert's educational background includes training from the Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy and graduation from Port Clinton High School.
