Sid Welham MBE has extensive experience in operational leadership, currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at S&W since March 2025. Prior to this role, Sid held the position of Chief Operating Officer at HFW from September 2019 to December 2024 and served as Chief Operating Officer for Professional Services at Evelyn Partners from December 2024 to March 2025. Sid’s military background includes service as an Officer in the British Army from December 1993 to September 2011, complemented by a foundational year as an Officer Cadet at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in 1993. In the corporate sector, Sid was COO of Financial Services at KPMG UK from September 2011 to August 2019. Educational achievements include a Master’s degree in Military (Technology) Studies from Cranfield University and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree from Staffordshire University.
