Ellen Brislin

Ellen Brislin is the Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer at SmithBucklin. Ellen has over 25 years of experience in corporate finance and accounting.

Brislin started their career at SmithBucklin in April 1996 as the Corporate Finance Manager. In this role, they established internal controls, close procedures, financial statement timelines, and improved teamwork and communication throughout the department. Ellen also improved the credibility of reports by improving quality and timeliness of information. In addition, Brislin was responsible for coordinating the month end close and producing consolidated financial statements for SmithBucklin and three subsidiaries.

In their current role as Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer, Brislin is responsible for the overall financial management of the company. This includes overseeing the accounting, finance, treasury, and tax functions. In addition, they provide strategic leadership and direction for all financial planning and analysis activities.

Ellen Brislin received their Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame. Ellen majored in accounting and now works as an accountant for a small business.

They are on a team with Stacy Miller - President The France Foundation, Michael E. Silverman - SVP, Chief Legal Officer & Specialized Operations, and Colette Huzinec - Senior Vice President & Chief People Officer. Their manager is Matt Sanderson, CEO.
