John Richardson

John Richardson is an experienced professional in the fields of policy and government relations, with an extensive background in health care advocacy. Since September 2006, John has served as the Director of Policy and Government Relations at the National Society of Genetic Counselors, where responsibilities include representing the organization in various legislative matters. In addition, John has been the Director of the Health Care Practice Group at SmithBucklin since December 2001, advocating for health care trade organizations at the federal level. Earlier in the career, John worked as a Legislative Assistant for Congressman John E. Sununu, focusing on health care, national security, and budget issues. Additionally, John gained experience on the campaign of Steve Forbes for President as an Advance Staff/Field Manager. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Roger Williams University.
