Katherine Ruff

Katherine Ruff is an experienced professional currently serving as the Membership and Operations Sr. Coordinator at Smithbucklin since January 2020, where responsibilities include engaging with volunteers and healthcare nonprofit associations to enhance membership and manage programming. Prior to Smithbucklin, Katherine worked at the National Women's History Museum as a Development Coordinator and completed roles as a Development Intern, contributing to donor acknowledgment and processing donations. Earlier experience includes managing undergraduate student tutors at American University’s Center for Community Engagement, conducting research at the Academica Nacional de Estudios Políticos y Estratégicos, and interning at Fundación CIVES to combat discrimination in schools. Katherine holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and International Relations from American University and is currently pursuing a Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management and Leadership at the University of Maryland.
