Katie Strang

Katie Strang is an experienced Executive Director with a strong track record in organizational management and educational programming. Since June 2013, Katie has held roles at Smithbucklin, the Texas Speech-Language-Hearing Association, and the International Society for Experimental Hematology, overseeing staff training, budget management, and international conference logistics. Prior to these roles, Katie served as Operations Manager at the National Society of Genetic Counselors, where responsibilities included managing educational initiatives and diversity projects. Additional experience includes positions at the Campus Kitchen, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and the American Red Cross, focusing on community outreach and support programs. Katie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Spanish from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, as well as a Master’s in Public Administration from the University of Illinois Chicago.
