Chris Berry

Chris Berry is an experienced manager in medical device testing, currently serving as the Manager at Smithers since September 2016, where responsibilities include supporting medical device manufacturers in product development, design verification, batch release, post-market surveillance, and investigative testing. Previously, Chris worked as a Principal Scientist at Smithers Packaging, Paper and Print from October 2007 to September 2016, focusing on test method developments and material performance assessment. Chris's professional background includes a Research Officer position at the University of Bath from March 2001 to November 2006 and a Materials Technician role at Pira International from February 1999 to February 2001. Chris holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bath and a Bachelor of Engineering in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering from Kingston University.
