Philip Hall

Philip Hall is an experienced engineering and materials expert with a strong focus on elastomer and rubber materials. Currently serving as a Principal Consultant at Smithers, Philip provides solutions and technical support for rubber materials design and processing. Previously, Philip held significant roles such as Group Engineering Manager at Autins Group plc, where engineering leadership was provided across multiple sites, and Engineering Manager at Freefoam Plastics Limited, overseeing strategy development in uPVC manufacturing. With a solid background that includes roles in engineering management, quality, and strategy at companies such as Meggitt and Toyoda Gosei UK, Philip has developed extensive expertise in materials development, mixing, and production engineering. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Polymer/Plastics Engineering from Loughborough University and various diplomas in Rubber Technology and Business Administration.
