Simon Kang

Simon (Seunghun) Kang has extensive work experience in the field of research and development. Simon (Seunghun) currently serves as a Senior Research Director at Smithers since April 2022. Prior to this role, they worked at Corteva Agriscience as an E-fate scientist from September 2020 to March 2022. Simon previously held the position of Senior Research Director at Smithers from December 2008 to August 2019. Simon (Seunghun) also worked as a Senior Scientist/Team leader at LG Life Sciences from January 2000 to August 2001, and as a Scientist/Team leader at LG Chem from January 1995 to December 1999.

Simon (Seunghun) Kang earned a Ph. D in Environmental Soil Chemistry from the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 2001 to 2007. Prior to that, they received an MS degree in Agrochemistry from Seoul National University from 1993 to 1995. Simon (Seunghun) also holds a Bachelor's degree in Agrochemistry from Seoul National University, which they obtained from 1987 to 1993.
