Tim Rice

Tim Rice is an experienced packaging and commercial operations professional with a background in engineering and project management. Currently serving as Commercial Operations Manager and previously as Commercial Lead Engineer at Smithers since March 2015, Tim has demonstrated expertise in managing simulated distribution testing for clients. Prior experience includes roles such as Project Engineer at Smithers Pira and Packaging Engineer at QiG Group, where Tim was responsible for the design and qualification of packaging solutions for medical devices. Additionally, Tim has held engineering positions in packaging at Edwards Lifesciences, Cardinal Health, and Amgen, contributing to the development and testing of medical device packaging to ensure product integrity and compliance. Tim holds a Bachelor of Science in Packaging from Michigan State University.
