Benjamin Strong is an architect with a robust background in architectural design and project management. Currently serving as Architect 1 at SmithGroup since November 2018, Benjamin gained prior experience as an Architectural Intern at Richard Alvord Architects from January 2017 to November 2018. Earlier roles included positions as a Solar Proposal Generator and Solar Site Auditor at Next Step Living from August 2012 to August 2015, and as a volunteer with Architecture for Humanity in 2012. Benjamin started the architectural journey as an intern at Campbell/Smith Architects in early 2011 and participated in the Bureau of Engineering's Los Angeles River Project Office as an intern in mid-2010. Benjamin holds a Master's degree in Architecture from Boston Architectural College, attended from 2015 to 2018, and a BA in Architectural Studies, Environmental Studies, and Sociology from Hobart and William Smith Colleges, completed in 2010.
