Ryan Schofield

Ryan Schofield is a Senior Acoustician at SmithGroup, a position held since June 2025. Prior to this, Ryan served as a Senior Associate at Veneklasen Associates, Inc. from June 2019 to April 2025, where responsibilities included leading projects and providing in-house training. Ryan's experience includes consulting at Charles M. Salter Associates, Inc. from May 2013 to May 2019, focusing on sound and vibration propagation in buildings. Previous roles include Senior Acoustical Consultant and Project Manager at Thorburn Associates from 2009 to May 2013, and Project Manager/Acoustician at Mei Wu Acoustics from 2006 to 2009, as well as at Sparling, a Stantec Company, from 2004 to 2005. Ryan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from San Francisco State University.
