Elias Moskowitz

Elias Moskowitz's work experience starts in 2010 as a Student Intern at the Scripps Institute of Oceanography. Elias then worked as a Quality Assurance Intern at Websense from 2011 to 2012. After that, they joined Integrity Applications Incorporated as a Software Engineer from 2012 to 2015.

In 2015, Elias joined AppFolio Inc. as a Software Engineer, where they played a crucial role in conceptualizing, designing, and developing features for a Software as a Service product utilized by property managers across the country. Elias utilized Ruby on Rails, mySQL, Javascript, and HTML 5 during their time at AppFolio Inc.

From 2017 to 2018, Elias worked on next-generation streaming video and backend micro-services for DirecTV as a Senior Software Engineer at AT&T. Elias worked on and debugged custom hardware and utilized technologies including Node.js, Java, Kafka, and Couchbase.

Elias then joined Circadence in 2018 as a Senior Software Engineer and worked there until 2020. In this role, they focused on developing prototypes for proof of concept features and worked closely with designers and project management on new product features. Elias utilized object-oriented design in C/C++ and worked with GStreamer and Boost libraries in an Ubuntu environment.

From 2020 to 2022, Elias worked at PeerStreet as a Senior Software Engineer. Elias helped design and implement a multi-tenant authorization platform and led a team in developing a new multi-tenancy platform to expedite the loan origination pipeline. Elias utilized AWS tools and best practices, such as Lambda, DynamoDB, Cognito, and IAM, and managed staged deployments with tools like AWS CDK and Hashicorp Terraform.

In 2022, Elias joined Aspiration as a Senior Software Engineer, where they worked until 2023. Finally, they started working at SmithRx in 2023 as a Senior Software Engineer.

Elias Moskowitz completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science at UC San Diego from 2008 to 2012. In addition to their formal education, Elias obtained certifications including React.js Essential Training from LinkedIn in April 2023 and Learning GraphQL from LinkedIn in February 2022.
