William Wilson

William Wilson is an experienced RF/Microwave Design Engineer at Smiths Interconnect, overseeing the design of new Interconnect products from concept through development, ensuring compliance with engineering principles and customer specifications. Prior experience includes roles at DNV GL, where William was involved in verifying offshore Subsea and E&I systems, and serving as a Project Manager and Senior Project Engineer, leading multi-discipline teams on oil and gas modification projects. William's background also includes managing New Product Introduction at Smiths Interconnect and serving as an Avionics and Electrical Supervisor Technician in the Royal Air Force. William holds a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Mechanical Engineering from The Open University and an MSc in Subsea Engineering from the University of Aberdeen, achieved with commendation.
