Adam Rozan

Adam Rozan is an accomplished professional in audience development and community engagement within the museum sector, currently serving at the Smithsonian Institution since March 2018. As a 2025 Smithsonian Education Achievement Award Winner, Adam leads programs that enhance visitor engagement at the National Museum of American History. Adam's extensive experience includes positions as Director of Programs and Audience Development and roles with several organizations, including the American Alliance of Museums as a writer, and the International Audience Engagement Network as a founding member. Adam has also held academic roles as an adjunct professor at Harvard University and has previously worked at notable institutions, including the Worcester Art Museum and the Oakland Museum of California. Adam's educational background comprises degrees from Harvard University and Elon University, along with various certifications in areas such as diversity, equity, and inclusion, as well as organizational consulting and change leadership.
