Dave Lu

Dave Lu is the Founder and Managing Partner of Hyphen Capital, where investments have been made in over 90 companies through a syndicate of 1000+ angels, totaling over $30 million since 2020. As Co-Founder of the Asian Leadership Center at Corporate Edge, a partnership with CEO Michael Takagawa, Lu helps connect Asian executives with expert coaches in leadership and entrepreneurship. Lu serves on the Advisory Board of the Smithsonian Asian Pacific American Center, aiming to amplify Asian Pacific American voices. As a Co-Founder of Stand with Asian Americans, Lu spearheaded a letter addressing anti-Asian hate crimes, rallying support from thousands of business leaders to raise $10 million for related nonprofits. Additional involvement includes membership in AAAIM, Gold House, YPO, and a stint as Executive Producer for an Emmy-winning documentary on Jeremy Lin. Lu holds an M.B.A. from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor's Degree in Finance and Strategic Management from The Wharton School.
