Melissa Wright is an experienced attorney currently serving as an Attorney-Advisor at the Smithsonian Institution since October 2022. Previously, Melissa held various significant roles at TPT - Twin Cities PBS from November 2014 to November 2021, including Chief Content Officer and Senior Vice President & General Counsel. Prior experience includes positions as Externship Director and Assistant Director of Career and Professional Development at William Mitchell College of Law, Senior Counsel in the Employment Law Section at Wells Fargo & Company, and Assistant Attorney General at the Office of the Minnesota Attorney General. Melissa holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and Political Science from St. Olaf College and a Juris Doctor from Mitchell Hamline School of Law.
