Mitchell Schear

Mitchell Schear is an experienced real estate professional with a robust background in investment, development, and operations spanning over three decades. Since March 2021, Mitchell has served as a Board of Regents Facilities Committee Member at the Smithsonian Institution. As the Founder of 10Square since 2017, Mitchell focuses on creating lasting impacts at the intersection of technology and real estate, advising on start-ups and venture capital investments. Previously, from July 2019 to June 2023, Mitchell was an Executive Partner at Camber Creek, specializing in early-stage investments in PropTech. Mitchell also served as a Trustee for JBG SMITH from July 2017 to June 2020, leveraging extensive experience in commercial and residential real estate. Earlier roles include President of Vornado/Charles E. Smith and The Kaempfer Company, where Mitchell led various prominent development projects in Washington, D.C. Mitchell holds an MBA from The George Washington University School of Business and is an alumnus of Hobart and William Smith Colleges.
