Murphy Chang is an accomplished fine arts professional with a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design, where studies were completed from 2007 to 2011. Professional experience includes serving as a Museum Technician at the Smithsonian Institution since 2012, and a long-term role at Gibney Dance, where contributions focus on aesthetics. Previous roles also include working as a student intern at the RISD Museum in drawing and prints conservation, a wall installation intern for a Pat Steir exhibit, and a wall "drawing" re-installation student at the Whitney Museum of American Art.
