Sml is an architecture studio based in London and Vancouver, founded by Mira Yung and Benny Kwok. The name Sml stands for Small, Medium and Large, a reminder that meaningful design matters at every scale. The studio began with the belief that architecture starts with the details — the texture of material, the experiential quality, and harmony with nature. Each project is shaped not only to be seen but to be felt, creating spaces that move people both visually and emotionally.
A core focus of Sml’s work is the transformative power of adaptive reuse. The studio celebrates the unique character of existing spaces, drawing out their inherent qualities and giving them new life.
