Founded by Anna Berbiela Rodriguez, Guillem Casasus and Javier Arizu, —all three former co-founders of design studio Pràctica (2018-2024)—, SMLXL is a full-service design company based in New York and Barcelona.

From a large scale visual identity system for a sports event to a small bookstore, from a cover for the New York Times Magazine to Seth Rogen's cannabis Houseplant packaging line, we create projects that influence contemporary visual culture and provide meaning for brands and individuals.

While our working method is built upon strategic thinking and contextual research, we recognize that the appeal of truly exceptional projects lies beyond rationality, evoking a sense of wonder that we aim for by encouraging our intuitive and playful sensibility.
