Kinza Mahoon

Kinza Mahoon has extensive experience in linguistics and education, having served as a Research Assistant at the University of Toronto from November 2019 to April 2020, where responsibilities included developing a linguistics textbook, organizing primary data, and managing student tutorials. Kinza has also reviewed research publications and synthesized findings in a collaborative research environment. Additionally, Kinza worked briefly as an Engineering Manager and Specialist at Smoothstack in February 2024, where the focus was on creating training sessions and meeting deliverable requirements. Kinza is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Linguistics at the University of Toronto, building upon a Master’s degree in Linguistics and a Diploma in Data Science from Lighthouse Labs.
