Jonathan McKeague

Jonathan McKeague has a diverse range of work experience. Jonathan started their career as an Intern Developer at SITA in 2010, where they worked on updating an internal Wiki and debugging and testing systems. Jonathan then joined the Irish Texel Sheep Society as a Website Administrator from July 2011 to February 2014. Following that, they worked as a Salesman at CityMan Menswear from December 2011 to May 2014, where they performed stock-taking, provided excellent customer care, and managed cash registers.

In 2015, Jonathan joined Lowell Group as a Software Support Analyst for seven months before moving on to Smoothwall. At Smoothwall, they initially worked as an Internet Analyst from August 2015 to May 2017, and then advanced to the role of Senior Internet Analyst from May 2017 to November 2019. Jonathan transitioned to the position of Software Test Engineer, which they held from November 2019 to January 2022. Jonathan then progressed to the role of Senior QA Engineer from January 2022 to February 2023, before becoming a Staff QA Engineer from February 2023 until the present.

Jonathan McKeague attended Moville Community College from 2002 to 2007, where they obtained their Leaving Certificate. After completing their secondary education, they enrolled at Ulster University in 2007, starting with a BSc Honors Computer Science program, which included an integrated foundation year. Jonathan pursued this degree until 2008. Subsequently, Jonathan continued their studies at Ulster University, graduating in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science. In addition to their formal education, Jonathan also obtained certifications in Badminton coaching. In 2010, they received the Badminton Ireland Level 0 Coaching Certificate, and in 2013, they obtained the Teicnic White (Level 1) certification from Badminton Ireland.
