Mathew Hall

Mathew Hall is currently the Global SRE Manager at Smoothwall, having begun this role in 2025. Previously, they served as the Head of SRE at Virtuoso, where they were responsible for cloud infrastructure and strategic planning, as well as providing coaching to cross-functional teams. Before that, Mathew worked as a Lead Research Engineer and Senior Software Engineer at Virtuoso, contributing to software development and machine learning model deployment. They earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science and a First-Class Bachelor of Science from the University of Sheffield, where they also worked as a Research Associate on various software engineering projects.
