Robert Weidlich serves as a Senior Data Architect at SMS Data Products Group, Inc. since January 2014, where expertise in Big Data Science solutions is applied for Department of Defense clients utilizing technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, and Python. Previously, Robert worked at Booz Allen Hamilton as an Associate focusing on Big Data Software Engineering and held multiple roles as a Software Engineer at SRI International, where the application of Text Analysis and Semantic Web was prominent. Additional experience includes software engineering positions at SPADAC, Time Warner Cable, Edge Technologies, and CyberCash. Robert holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from George Mason University and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
