Rob McCarney is an experienced television technician and broadcast engineer, currently serving as a Board Member for North Penn Water Authority since January 2025, representing Hatfield Township. With a robust background at SMT (SportsMEDIA Technology Corp) since April 2011, Rob coordinates advanced television graphics and develops software and hardware for broadcast environments. Freelance work with Pennsylvania Cable Network and various other companies has provided a wide range of production services, from camera operation to technical support. Previous roles include Production Assistant at Madison Square Garden, Freelance Lighting Technician at Eventions Productions, and internships with Trenton Thunder. Rob holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from PennWest California, earned in 2009.
