Surface Mount Technology Association (SMTA)
Dhruv Varshney is a Computer Engineering student at San Jose State University, expected to graduate in 2025. Currently serving as an intern at UL Solutions, Dhruv conducts SAR testing for wireless mobile devices and validates OTA cellular test cases. In addition to internship responsibilities, Dhruv works as a Research Assistant focusing on Embedded Systems and Computer Vision applications for urban road safety. Dhruv also facilitates learning as a Teacher Assistant for Operating System Design and physics courses at SJSU. Active in leadership roles, Dhruv is the Vice President of the IEEE SJSU Student Chapter, Secretary for the Surface Mount Technology Association, and Chief Financial Officer for Associated Students at SJSU, where strategic financial management is a priority. Dhruv's previous experience includes a project addressing suburban poverty as part of the IBM Good Tech Scholar program.
