Sofia Maame Thompson is a PR Director and Strategist dedicated to aligning people with purpose, particularly within culture-shifting brands. They founded SMTPR, a PR Strategy Consultancy, to help emerging brands achieve organic recognition and meaningful partnerships. Their experience includes roles at various organizations, such as Director of Public Relations at Buttah Skin and previously as an Account Manager at Danika Daly PR. Sofia holds a Bachelor of Science in Africana Studies from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and is a Master’s Degree candidate in Creative Publishing & Critical Journalism at The New School.
