Brandon Gilbert is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in vegetation management and quality assurance within the forestry and utility sectors. Currently serving as a Vegetation Work Planner at SMUD since March 2022, Brandon previously held multiple roles at ArborMetrics Solutions, LLC, including Project Lead and Senior Quality Assurance/Quality Control Auditor. Prior positions also include Utility Forester roles at both ArborMetrics and Orient Consulting LLC, where responsibilities encompassed power line inspections and customer communications. Early experience includes timber cruising at Sierra Pacific Industries and various operational roles in the United States Marine Corps, which fostered strong leadership and technical skills. Brandon holds an Associate’s Degree in Forestry and Natural Resources from Reedley College.
