Eric Yap

Eric Yap is an accomplished electrical engineer with extensive experience in various roles within the industry. Currently serving as a Facilities Electrical Engineer at SMUD since January 2024, Eric has also held the position of Senior Electrical Engineer at Glumac since February 2020, as well as similar senior positions at RagingWire Data Centers and McKesson. Prior experience includes serving as Principal at VIERCO Consulting Engineers Inc., where electrical engineering and design services were provided to a nationwide clientele. Eric's career began as an Electrical Engineer at GEZ Architects/Engineers and has included significant roles at Keller & Gannon, Affiliated Engineers, and the City of Sacramento. Educational qualifications include a BSE in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from California State University-Sacramento.
