Genene Charles

Genene Charles has extensive experience in management and marketing, currently serving as a Management Analyst at SMUD since September 2014, focusing on Diversity & Inclusion and data analytics for the Human Resources department. Prior to this role, Genene was a Human Resources Technician managing data in SAP and an Office Technician at Modamedia Communications Inc., where responsibilities included addressing client marketing needs as a Senior Account Executive. Previous positions include Advertising Manager for the Sacramento River Cats, Senior Coordinator for Marketing, Public Relations & Advertising at Cal Expo & California State Fair, and Bookkeeper at St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church. Genene also held roles as Accounting Assistant at the University of the Pacific-Finance Center and Executive Intern at Target, along with early experience as a Receptionist at St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church.
