Michael Steele is currently a Senior Fire Protection Engineer at the Sacramento Municipal Utility District, a position held since 2012. Prior to this role, they worked as a Fire Protection Engineer for the City of North Las Vegas from 2005 to 2010 and at the Department of Energy's National Nuclear Security Administration from 2010 to 2011. Michael is pursuing a Master’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering at the University of Maryland.
