David Young

David Young has a diverse work experience, starting in 2009 when they worked as a Production Assistant for UMCA Sports. In 2009, they also began working as a Live Sound Engineer for The Union Bar, Dewey Decibel Systems, and Various Venues. In 2010, they joined Lightborne Lore, LLC as an Audio Director, Composer, and Sound Designer for their video game projects. In 2013, they started working as a Content Production Contractor for Smule, Inc., focusing on creating musical arrangements for their apps. David then held various roles at Smule, including Content Producer, Content Licensing Coordinator, and Music Pre-Production & Licensing Lead. In 2016, they became an Artist & Music Industry Production Lead at Smule, and in 2023, they transitioned to the role of Director, Music Production & Artist Relations. Additionally, David has experience as a Composer and Producer for their own music, as well as being a Keyboardist, Songwriter, and Engineer for various bands. David also worked at Ohio University as a Tour Guide and Resident Assistant.

David Young attended Ohio University from 2008 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a minor in Music. David'sfield of study was Media Arts & Studies, focusing on Music Production and Music.
