Ray Jones has extensive work experience in various roles related to program management, information technology, and network administration. A. "Ray" has worked for SMX since 2022, starting as a Program Manager and later being promoted to Lead Program Manager. In these roles, they oversaw the operations of Federal Government prime contracts, managed project teams, and served as a liaison between Federal Government personnel and prime contract teams.

Prior to SMX, Ray worked for the United States Air Force for over 20 years. A. "Ray"'sroles included Deputy Director of Information Technology, Senior Program Manager for IT Business Continuity and QA, Senior Program Manager for IT Operations, Regional Manager for IT Operations, Manager for IT Service Desk and Network Security Operations, Supervisor for Network Administration, and System Network Administrator. Before joining the Air Force, Ray had experience as a Web Developer at Solutions Point and as a Help Desk Specialist at Summit Solutions.

A. "Ray" Jones has a diverse education history. They began their education at the Community College of the Air Force, where they earned an Associate of Science degree in Military Information Systems Technology from 2001 to 2011. Later, they attended Liberty University and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Religious Education from 2007 to 2017. Continuing their education at Liberty University, they pursued a Master of Education degree in Teaching & Learning - Leadership from 2018 to 2022. In addition, they completed a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Organization & Management: Leadership from Liberty University from 2022 to 2027.
