Allyson Price

Allyson Price is an IT Specialist at SMX since March 2019, providing helpdesk support for a company with approximately 1,600 employees, managing software installations, hardware and networking issues, and assisting with mass migration projects. Prior to this, Allyson worked as a Junior Network Administrator at Perdue Farms from June 2017 to March 2019, supporting the Network Operations Center, monitoring network performance, and maintaining Cisco network equipment. Earlier experience includes serving as an IT Help Desk Assistant at Frostburg State University from August 2015 to May 2017, where Tier I and Tier II support was provided for various operating systems and issues. An internship at the Smithsonian Institution in the summer of 2016 involved safeguarding against data attacks and performing vulnerability scans. Allyson holds a Bachelor’s Degree in secure computing and information assurance from Frostburg State University, earned in 2017.
