Ben Tarr

Ben Tarr is an experienced executive currently serving as the Executive Vice President at SMX since June 2025. Prior to this role, Ben served as the CEO of Outside Analytics from August 2017 to August 2025, where the company focused on building and supporting systems for data-driven decision-making. Ben’s extensive background at Lockheed Martin from 2002 to 2017 includes positions as Chief Architect, where responsibilities encompassed real-time data processing for space-based sensor systems, and earlier roles in system engineering and integration related to military customer projects. Ben holds a Master of Science in Information Technology from the University of Maryland Global Campus and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
