Danny W. has over 20 years of experience in software security engineering and network security. Danny is currently working as a Principal Software Security Engineer for Smartronix, Inc., focusing on Cloud (AWS/Azure) related security concerns and implementing mitigations. Prior to this, they spent 20 years as a defense contractor supporting DoD Red Teams. Danny also worked as a Principal Security Research Engineer and Founder of Digital Tradecraft LLC, providing security assessments and penetration testing for software/firmware and network/embedded systems. Danny started their career at Icons, Inc. as a Network Security Engineer and gained experience in system administration and IT management at PharmComm, Incorporated.

Danny W. holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Old Dominion University, which they obtained from 1990 to 1992. Danny also has a Master of Science degree in Network Security from Capitol Technology University, which they obtained from 2004 to 2006.
