David Murray

David Murray is an experienced aerospace and defense professional, currently serving as a Senior Mission Systems Engineer at SMX, supporting the Future Long Range Assault Aircraft Project Management Office since August 2022. Previous positions include leadership roles at Naval Air Systems Command, where responsibilities spanned cybersecurity and airworthiness, and as Principal Deputy Program Manager for the Joint Primary Aircraft Training System. Murray has also led significant initiatives in the Presidential Helicopters Program Office and the H-60 Multi-Mission Helicopters Program Office. With a solid background as an operations and flight instructor, as well as extensive experience in testing and evaluation, Murray holds multiple advanced degrees, including a Master's in Technical Management from The Johns Hopkins University and a Master's in Aeronautical Engineering from the U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology.
