Erik Hansen

Erik Hansen is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with a robust background in military operations and information technology. Currently serving as a Senior Cybersecurity Specialist at SMX since February 2022, Erik brings extensive experience from previous roles, including a contractor position at NATO Allied Command Transformation and two decades in the US Navy. In the Navy, Erik held various titles, including Director of Fleet Cybersecurity Training and Assessment, Assessment Officer in Charge, Mission Support Branch Chief, and Battle Watch Captain. Erik's educational credentials include a Master of Science in Cyber Systems and Operations from the Naval Postgraduate School and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology, earned with distinction, from San Diego State University.
