James Knoll

James Knoll is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in program management and engineering within the defense sector. Currently serving as Lead Program Manager at SMX since January 2021, James previously held significant roles including Vice President and Director of Security & Engineering Services at FGS, LLC, and Officer in Charge at SPAWAR, managing a DoD business unit with $120M in annual sales. During a distinguished 23-year career in the US Navy, James served as an Engineering Duty Officer and held various leadership positions, including Deputy Program Manager for Operational Networks at PEO EIS, where responsibilities included overseeing the Navy-Marine Corps Intranet.
