Jeff Cartwright

Application Administrator

Jeff Cartwright has over 19 years of experience in IT support and administration, currently serving as an Application Administrator at SMX since May 2017. In this role, Jeff is responsible for installing and configuring Windows Servers, managing Windows Workstation Images, and providing Tier 3 support. Previous positions include PC Support Specialist at SMX, where support was provided in a research environment, and PC Support Technician at Vectrus, supporting the US Army Corps of Engineers. Jeff also held the role of Senior IT Support Specialist at UIC Technical Services, delivering support for the United States Army Contracting Command, and has extensive experience from earlier roles, including Service Desk Analyst at RSM McGladrey and Technical Sales & Marketing Specialist at EMAC, Inc. Jeff holds a BBA in Business Information Systems from Mississippi State University and an M.S. Ed. in Workforce Education and Development from Southern Illinois University.
