Joshua Nelson is a highly experienced aviation professional with a diverse background in military operations. Currently serving as a UAS LNO at SMX since February 2023, Joshua has held various leadership roles in the USMC, including Executive Officer and King Air Pilot at Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Operations Officer, and Plans Officer for Expeditionary Strike Group TWO. With a progression from Helicopter Pilot roles, including UH-1Y Huey and CH-46E, to Sea King MK 4 (H-3) Pilot, Joshua has developed extensive skills in aviation and operations management. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Idaho and an Executive Masters of Business Administration from the Naval Postgraduate School.
