Matt Farina

Matt Farina has over two decades of experience in information technology, specializing in cloud engineering and information security. Since April 2001, Matt has worked at SMX in various roles, including Cloud Engineer, Windows System Engineer, and Senior Information Security Engineer, where responsibilities included performing security analyses, maintaining system security, and managing McAfee HBSS infrastructure for classified networks. Previous positions include Lead Information Assurance Engineer and Systems Engineer, where Matt implemented security equipment and supported network vulnerability assessments for Navy and Marine Corps sites. Earlier roles at cVideo and Com2001 Technologies involved managing IT operations and server/network infrastructures. Matt holds a degree from the University of Notre Dame, earned between 1988 and 1992.
