Currently serving as an Expert Cloud Solutions Architect at SMX since April 2020, Schmitt previously held significant roles in the Illinois Air National Guard, including Director of Special Warfare Mission Support, where leadership of a 50-person maintenance flight enhanced tactical communication capabilities. Schmitt's career encompasses a range of engineering and security positions at various companies, such as Trident Technologies and NJVC-LLC, focusing on DevOps, cloud services, and cybersecurity. Schmitt holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Science in Cybersecurity Management from the University of Illinois Springfield and a BS in Computer Information Systems from Strayer University.
